This installs fine in XP, however when you pop it in a Vista PC, the surround sound bit does NOT work! Although it will install OK (minus the MIDI port). Ah well at least it did not cost me a bundle to find that out :)
The additional software is non-existent as the CD only contains drivers...

i havnt got this working with windows 7 x64..
ive been searching the net for drivers but i dont think they exist... do not buy!!!

Windows 7 32bit
Says it works with Windows 7.
It doesnt.
Drivers are labelled horribly for a start.
And there isn't one for Windows 7.
Try the vista one anyway
Causes heaps of blue screens and has also wrecked my graphics card (or at least the drivers)
Cant easily find the driver to remove it, can only assume its labelled something obscure and hidden away somewhere. not in the usual list anyway.
Tl;dr avoid if you have windows 7.
or just generally avoid.

Good, general-purpose sound card
I bought this as the on-board sound chip on my daughter's PC had packed up. It was easy to install, just plugging into a PCI socket, and then I loaded the driver easily. Read more

I have installed several of these now. Absolute steal for under a tenner! Produce a good sound & simple to install!

Excellent sound card.
Cracking sound card which I thought was as cheap as you can get. Had a quick look in PC world and they couldn't come close on price.
