The first one ordered arrived damaged, this was not the fault of Amazon i must point out, the metal plate that attaches to the board was bent and could not be fitted into the machine. Amazon kindly sent a replacement and this one was better though it must be said that the metal plate still does not fit flush to the PC case like it should. The most ridiculously annoying part of this item is the driver disc (found hiding between the cardboard packaging). THIS IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY DESPITE BEING ADVERTISED AS SUCH. After over an hour of trying to search for a driver through the many unhelpfully titled folders on the CD (it doesn't autorun) I resorted to checking through the reviews for help. YORKSHIRE WALKER was the savior here. My system is a 64 bit Windows 7 setup. The driver you need is located in the bottom file named Q351. The driver name is CH35XDRV. Once I installed this the PC recognises COM3 and COM4. AT LAST!!!!
My advice is that it works, once the insanely confusing driver CD is figured out. Read the reviews for help first!!!!
