An absolute great bit of kit, I'm always using mine as the possibilities are vast.

Pros. Well made love the QWERTY keyboard and tapes are good, also you can use symbols and clip art.

Cons. Cost of tapes are a bit pricey but they last a long time, not like the other brand my BROTHER has.

Four stars because it is not perfect. Writing on two lines does not maintain font size but seems to make its own choice and one or two other small niggles. The labels are clear and the tape usage is reasonable, not a lot of waste. I compared this to Brother before buying. The main reasons for choosing Dymo: Cheaper tapes, less waste, font size variation. I am renovating an old car and I will be using a lot of tape.

Works perfectly with rechargeable batteries (though it takes 6 AAA to operate) which is very handy for a mobile device :)
Very simple to use : write, select a font, print, cut and stick!
Packaging includes one D1 tape (black / white 12mm).

It would have been nice to preview the label before printing but I suppose that's too much to ask for this price.
There might be some special functions but as there's no instruction book I will try all keys one of these days, searching for a 'clear' button.

First class piece of equipment, does exactly what it is designed to do simply and efficiently. I only have one small 'moan' and that is that the instructions are basic, to say the least, and although simple to operate requires a degree of 'experiment' to operate the product. The on screen language is not in English and I have no instructions to tell me how to change this to English. this does not detract from the quality of the product and the produced labels. Your help would be appreciated.

This has replaced an old Brother labeller we had in the office for at least 6 years that has no instructions and was not user friendly. The Dymo is straight forward to use, you can find instructions easily on the internet if necessary, as well as standard one line labels it can print 2 lines of wording and label across or downwards which is really useful for files. Great buy, we bought the recommended power adapter to go with it supplied by Digidave which is far better than having to use 6 batteries in the machine.

Plenty of symbols, text sizes and formats. Would be good if it did more lines of text and printed closer to the edge of the tape but two lines with a margin seems pretty well standard now. The tape cartridges are expensive but the Dymo range seems better than most and the label maker is very easy/intuitive to use.

Well this has got me neat, tidy and organised. A very handy device enabling upper and lower case, a range of type sizes and colours of ink and tape. Very versatile and surprisingly quick. Only thing I would criticize is that the battery option doesn't work for me and I have to have the device plugged in. Buying the adaptor simultaneously may be useful for others...
