Product Description

Dylan Moran, star of Black Books, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy Run is about to spread a little happiness with a brand new live DVD for 2011. Ageing, religion, kids and relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly 'Moranesque' brush strokes are all delivered with Dylan's renowned, shambolic charm…

Simply unmissable.

"It didn’t falter for a moment. This is stand-up comedy of the first order... scarcely a word wasted... seriously good fun" The Times *****

5.0 out of 5 stars As hilarious as always! 25 Nov 2011
As hilarious as always. Always feel Mr Moran is under rated these day with over exaggerated rising stars such as Michael Mcintyre and Lee Evans (both of whom I also love). However I love his style and character - you just have to watch with a completely open mind and be amazed by his creativity!

5.0 out of 5 stars Underrated 30 Dec 2011
I was pleasantly surprised by Dylan's fourth offering, which sees him branching off into slightly different topics. There's a bit more on politics, which has sort of been a new approach for Dylan since What It Is, and it comes off quite well. There's also more on gender and identity (classic Dylan stuff) which is hilarious as always. In the end, it might be a bit similar to his other shows, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.

I love Dylan Moran's style and he takes his tried and tested formula back for this DVD. If you're a fan of his you might as well buy this DVD right now, it's still funny but unlike previous offerings the were stretches of the show where I was actually fairly bored. In the first half I found myself very disappointed at the content and found myself trying to search for a laugh as opposed to letting them come to me naturally.

The second half picked up a lot, the cake moment was the first part of the show that felt truly natural and the show seemed to pick up significantly thereafter.

It's still funny, it still holds his trademark style but it now seems forced, it's a great character but I am starting to feel he's running out of ideas. Still worth the purchase for any Dylan fan but not the place to start if you're looking into his stuff for the first time.

In my opinion, Dylan Moran, along with Sean Lock and Stewart Lee, is the cream of the current generation of stand-up comedians - and I watch A LOT of stand-up. I'd say this is a very good show and if you liked Dylan's other DVDs I'm sure you'll like this one too.

5.0 out of 5 stars PLEASE MAKE MORAN DVDs FOR THE SAD AMERICANS!! 2 Dec 2011
I have flown OVERSEAS TWICE to see Dylan Moran LIVE. I am a New Yorker. This man's humor is subtle and also 'humiliate-yourself you laugh out-loud' simultaneously.
If you haven't seen him live before, pick up "Monster" first. You will LOVE IT!!
But I digress.
WHAT ABOUT THE SAD AMERICANS, LEFT TO CRY IN THEIR SOUP???
They don't (to date) make Dylan Moran DVDs that American DVD players can accept. This is a national tragedy.
The first time I saw Moran live it was in Edinburgh and the second time it was in a tiny club in London where hardly anyone knew he was playing. God, he was brilliant.
He even handed me his notes at one point in the evening, they were so intelligible to him.
I think they might have been in Russian.
So, I cannot see this DVD even though I was lucky enough to catch him in London myself.
FRIENDS, COUNTRYMEN, HELP!!!!
Love, the Non-laughing New Yorker.

Definitely in a class of it's own. Dylan Moran has a very distinctive style, wit and charm and he has a stage presence like no other comedian around. I've been a fan of his for years, Black Books got me hooked on him and converted me into a real fan.

This dvd isn't quite as funny or refreshing as 'Monster' but 'Like, Totally' wasn't either. This dvd is just another performance of Dylan doing what he does best and executing it with such precision. I must point out, I noticed he stammers on this one a bit more and he tells a couple of jokes we heard before, but it's still funny and it doesn't seem old/dated. It goes without saying that all Dylan Moran fans should own this and more than likely, do. It's well worth your money and time. An essential purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another splendid bit by Dylan 1 Mar 2012
By Virco
If you enjoy the mildly autistic, purposely confused, somehow bitter but ultimately endearing comedy of this Irish gem then you'll love "Yeah, Yeah". Nothing is lost from the verve of his apparently disarticulated rants making this another Moran "classic". If you like fart jokes though you'll probably be disappointed.

Not only did mans journey into space peak between 1969 and 1972 during which the 12 (only what ? 8 left alive) men who walked on the moon did their stuff : music also peaked during those years. The rest is just winding down and fiddling about. 15 3 hours ago
