A wonderful mystery that is enthralling and has unexpected twists for the reader. Easily on a parr with Rebus novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alice Rice---The new Rebus. 17 Feb 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I can't remember if I left a previous review for this book. I've just re-read it. It was every bit enjoyable as the first time I read it. I really liked the charater Annie. She came over as a real living, breathing person. I won't say to much as I don't want to spoil the book for anyone who hasn't read it yet. I'll just say it's well worth buying. It's easy reading and flows along nicely, with some nice turn red herrings. Do yourself a favour and buy Dying of the light. You won't regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well written 11 Jan 2013

The story unfolds slowly and jumps around which I am enjoying - it is rather like watching a film. I will buy another book by this author
