If you are buying this book note that all the stories are in other anthologies already. 'Paradise Bossed' is in "Surf's Up"; 'Driftwood' is in "Over The Moon"; 'Witch Way' in "Demon's Delight" and 'The Fixer Upper' is in "Men at Work".
All these anthologies are mostly brilliant and well worth buying especially if you can get them used "very good" which I did.
This is to take nothing away from Mary Janice Davidson who is a great story teller, especially with her Queen Betsy and Werewolf Pack tales.

the narration is AWFUL! 13 Sept. 2013
By carpedog - Published on Amazon.com
the narrator for the first story, The Fixer Upper, is HORRIBLE! Her "Minnesota" accent is full of stereotypes and is simply dreadful. I love MJD but couldn't listen to this. Every time a character spoke, I couldn't help but cringe.

I really, really, really love this author. She keeps you involved with all the plots and charactors. She is a favorite.

Dying For You 15 Dec. 2012

This wasn't the best of MaryJanice Davidson's work but there were glimpses of some of her well known humor. The whole collection was saved by the last story. I would have liked for the last story to have been it's own novel. All and all not bad but not her best work either.
Davidson consistantly wickedly sexy, and amusing 14 Nov. 2012

Davidson's charaters always seem to be going through the trials the rest of us do, with the added handicap or blessing of their supernatural talents. Add to that an almost midwest valley girl slant that stays amusing.
