Format:Audio CD
First heard this at a Wayne McGregor dance performance and absolutely loved it then. Very glad to now be able to listen to it at will. Really fantastic. Shall be watching, or rather listening, out for more by this young composer!

Wonderful! Take a break to a less hectic place!

If you haven't heard any music from Ólafur Arnalds yet, do yourself a favor and take a listen. I have a stressful job and if I can take a break, I play one of Mr. Arnald's recordings.
I don't have the vocabulary to describe this music, but in a way it might be reminiscent of chamber music, although it feels more 'contemporary' than what you might usually expect when you think of chamber music.
If your life is as busy as mine, do yourself a huge favor and put on "Dyad 1909" or "Eulogy For Evolution" or one of the other Ólafur Arnalds recordings and be transported to a more beautiful and less hectic place!

on the music BUT on the price for the CD and the duration of the CD. As other CDs bt the Icelandic composter this is meditative and should be judged in this leage.
It is all about the pure beauty...and magic.

In love with every piece of music Olafur produces. This album stands up tall next to the rest in his and I look forward to more from him. It is not about the quantity but the quality. So magical, so fine, like dandelion wine.
