I know very little about Dutch Barges, or barges of any other kind, but my daughter and her fiance have recently purchased one, Vertrouwen. To my suprise it appears to be a barge of some distinction, appearing on the front cover of the book and mentioned several times within.
I cannot thank David Evershed and Amazon enough and think that my daughter will have more to add when she receives this book as a belated Christmas present on Thursday 30 December when we arrive to spend the Millennium on this wonderful craft.
