I moved to Amsterdam about 5 months ago and I find this the most useful phrasebook I have found (and I have a few). Clear, comprehensive and good for helping with the basics of learning another language.

The difference between long and short vowels does not reside in how long you hold them. Shocking that such nonsense is still being produced.

Recently started living and working in the Flemish part of Belgium. This book was reccommended by other Amazon contributors and it hasnt let me down so far. Very good.
