Dusty Springfield, OBE (April 16, 1939 - March 2, 1999) was undoubtedly one the greatest soul and pop music singer's that Britain has ever produced and is heralded as one of the most influential singers of the 20th century. Dusty had a career that spanned more than four decades and achieved her most notable success during the 1960s, with a successful comeback in the late 80's. This latest DVD from Delta brings together a series of some of her best performances and feature's the beloved hits that fan's everything will adore. 2006 has seen Dusty inducted into the UK Hall Of Fame proving her legacy is still as popular today as ever.

This is a collection of televised performances in black and white or colour and the program has been edited together to provide continuous viewing of all songs. Although you may find that many of these songs have been previously released this is a new compilation and does not feature any commentary (which is a bonus). Quiet Please There's A Lady On Stage comes from a concert filmed at the Royal Albert Hall in 1979. There is a written biography that is backed by track 10, Can I Get a Witness. The picture quality is good and the sound clear and to be fair Delta have highlighted that both cannot be compared with modern day picture or audio. The running time is approx 64 minutes. All round a good collection and at a great price.Full screen 1.33:1, Dolby Digital 5.1
Excellant DVD, obviously a woman with extraordinary talent that never got the full credit for all her accomplishments in the music business.
