What can I say? The cable was received promptly & operated correctly. I would be particularly careful to look after my cables, ensuring that they do not get kinked or the connectors get bent or corroded. That was one of the reasons I chose this particular brand because of the gold plating. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that after only 2 months of daily usage the cable failed. Another couple of pounds wasted! Very disappointed!

I purchased this cable a few months ago, while initially it worked perfectly, one day i came to use it and it simply wouldn't charge or connect to a pc. I tried a different plug, I tried a different iPhone but still no joy!!
Yes it is gold, yes you may think its good, but to be honest there's no real difference to any other one. I have just brought a replacement one for around £2 and its working perfectly.

The connection that is linked on the phone end has come loose on two of these that I have bought. They don't charge anymore, and have throw them away. Will buy more expensive ones next time that will hopefully be better built, and not come loose.

Mmmm....
Positives: Cheap. Service from Marketplace seller was faultless.
Negatives: Wouldn't charge my 4th Gen iPod touch.

A great looking cable
Looks great, works fine.
Has some subtle tactile differences with the original cable - it doesn't "click" upon insertion quite the same way and is a little less slippery.

Difficult to remove from device
