Simplicity itself; easy and intuitive to use.
Measures in g, lbs, oz, ml and fl oz. and when checked against know weights I found them to be accurate within 1g.
Display can be zeroed at any time and units changed if necessary, so, for example, after adding 250g of flour, the addition of 120ml of milk can be measured into the same bowl.
Handles negative values so it's easy to see how much has been removed from a container.
There is no problem reading the display, even when a large bowl is placed on the scale.
As already mentioned the scales do switch off if left unused for a short while but not a great problem as it's easy to switch them on again and the benefit must be a longer battery life.
I've only rated them 4 stars as I have only been using them for a couple of days so can't comment on reliabilty or longevity.
Update: Now been using these scales for a few months and I've reduced my rating to 3 Stars. There is insufficient warning when the battery power is too low, the display simply switches from any measurement to say "Lo", and if you happen to be in the middle of adding, say milk to flour, you're left not knowing how much was added or remains to be added. Only safe option is to either record starting weights or measure ingedients separately, which rather negates some of the advantages of electronic scales. I've also found that after a "Lo" warning the scales can be swiched back on and will operate for quite a while before the low battery warning reappears. If you buy these scales be sure to have a good stock of CR2032 batteries to hand.
