I am writing this for other Mac users.
First let me say that I'm not an expert in this field. It took 3 days of search and trial and error before I got this Dongle to work! The Software supplied does not work!!
First you'll need a computer already connected to the internet! Go to Realtek.com. Select Downloads - Communications Network ICs - Wireless LAN ICs - WLAN NIC - IEEE802.11 b/g/n Single chip - software. From the list, Select RTL8192SU. Click Go. Now Select your Operating Software System [I selected OS10.4 which is Tiger] Choose a site from the download column. The software will download.

If you have already tried to install the supplied software you will need to use the uninstall software supplied.

Installing is straight forward. After installing the software, connect the Dongle. You have a programme called Wireless Network Utility. Under Available Networks, select 'connect' and type your Router's Key/code [from a label on the Router] Later add your Network to 'Add to Profiles' this avoids having to type your Key code every time.

In System Preferences I created a new location, and called it Dongle. Under Network Port Configurations the Dongle shows up as 'Ethernet Adaptor [en1]' The box next to it must be Ticked. And it is configured using DHCP. Maybe someone with more knowledge can explain this part better.

How can a company in the communications business have such poor communications!! It is sold as being suitable for a Mac, yet not a word in their Manual about Mac. And supplying software that doesn't work.
PC users seem to like this Dongle. I have had it working now for all of 1 hour. Hope this information helps.

Dongle received quickly, found the appropriate drivers on the internet thanks to other reviewers here, up and running quickly. Good fast connection, through several walls and on a different floor.

First things first, this product is amazingly cheap for what it is, compared to competitors. The Dongle seems sturdy, and has fast speeds. If you pick the right drivers to install from the disk (as the models have all the same name, the driver choice is from pictures 0_o) the setup is quick and easy. Working %150 on Windows 7 64 bit P.S. most of the low-rating reviews are for Mac: the product is a steal for PC, and deserves 5*.

The Duronic wireless dongle is a good product to buy and a bargain at £10. Its improved my wireless connection
alot more than my previous wireless dongle. the only setback with this product is the instruction manual to install the
dongle. Yes its a very straight forward set up but the instruction manual didnt match what was presented to me with
the on screen instructions. So it might set you back an extra tens minutes as you figure this out. Other than that
a top product.

James

Speedy when it works, however I have experienced problems with it losing the connection to the net. This is the first of such devices to have this problem in my home.

Dosent work at all, the software just conflicts with other programmes on the disc and the usb drive detects it as corrupt. It dosent fit properly in all 6 of my usb ports and within 12 minutes of being plugged in the unit gets very hot and the plastic is boiling! waste of money and time attempting to get this to work.
