Switches between HDMI channels automatically, so no need for the remote! I have my PS3, Xbox 360 and PC all connected to my TV, no loss of sound or picture quality, extremely happy!

Saved my day, as i have 1 HDMI input in my TV. Now i have DigitalTV, PS3 and XBOX360 connected to my TV on HDMI.

I purchased this item with the intention of connecting my Sky+HD box and PlayStation 3 to it, and at first it appeared to work normally. Before long the device began to cause the image to flicker when displaying the signal from the PS3, then the entire screen would go black for several seconds at a time, and eventually it would cease displaying any picture whatsoever. When switching back to the signal from Sky the image would display correctly, but still nothing could be seen from the PS3. Switching the cables and the ports they were plugged into made no difference either. The only way to restore functionality to the device was to leave it unplugged for several days before reconnecting it, and shortly thereafter the same problems would resurface until it once again became inoperable.
It rather defeats the purpose of the device if one must continually get up and reconnect all the HDMI cables behind the back of the television just to get a picture, and thus I am left disappointed.

Not Automatic for me have to use remote....
Couldn't get it to work automatically with a Sky HD box, Sony BlueRay/DVD player and Samsung TV, had to use the remote control switcher so not ideal but OK.
