I bought this switcher with some trepidation after reading various reviews for other switchers which had implied, in general for all brands, that I would likely experience some signal degradation. I am happy to report that this is NOT the case. The switcher itself is much smaller than I had expected, and very lightweight. I have the unit switching my SKY HD and PS3, and in all honesty the switcher far exceeds my expectations. A clever device with NO signal degredation and smart auto switch function. The LED light to show which device is currently in use is very bright, but as it is Blue (I didnt want the living room to look like a red light district or the wife would have complained) and hidden behind the telly this caused no problems. Well done Duronics!

I was disappointed when I brought my Blue Ray DVD Player only to discover I have insufficient HDMI slots, but when I heard that there was such an item as an HDMI splitter, it seemed the ideal answer. I researched a couple of products but this had the best reviews. It arrived quickly even during the busy Christmas period and it was up and working in minutes, it automatically switches between my DVD player and my Sky HD box without any problems despite a couple of reviewees experiencing issues. Although it is best to use SKY HD in port 1 to avoid any issues.

Works like a charm. I've had this for about a year now and am very pleased with it.
PROS
1. Faultless, invisible operation. You forget it's there making your life easier.
2. Auto-selects the source correctly and quickly. Mine is switching between cable TV, PS3 and Laptop. No button pressing or silly remotes (though you can force a source change with the button if you need to).
3. Price
4. It's tiny
CONS
Only two and this is a bit picky really, since it works so well. But I am a lover of form as well as function...
1. Because the cables connect from all directions it can turn into a bit of a four legged beastie (cables with 90° ends would mostly solve this). Mine appears to be suspended in mid air behind my AV cabinet, which isn't a problem (its inevitably a mess back there anyway). But if the connectors were all on one side it would be tidier.
2. It has an intense blue LED. Needless on a hidden object and is a bit distracting if you like a dark room for movies. Nothing a small piece of tape can't fix, but why is it even there?
But really, those are minor complaints. Overall this is a great solution.
I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone. I giggle when I visit a friend who has a switcher which needs a remote control to do what this does automatically and cost more than twice what I paid.

Works as it should
Excellent value for the price and works just as it should. Auto-switching works perfectly though so hardly ever needed to use the switching button.

Hdmi switcher
Does what it says on the box, I normally switch output manually ! Auto switching only seems to work properly if unused DVD players etc are turned off.
