- The Duronic Apex is a highly portable and stylish wind up and solar powered AM/FM radio that will go just about anywhere, battery-free. Instructions can be seen in the picture galery just incase your unit does not have it
- Winding arm to create and store energy, Solar panel at the top of the radio to allow charge via sunlight, charges and plays plays simultaneously, plug socket for earphones, USB charging cable included, Charging light indicator turns red to show battery being charged by either solar, USB charge or wind-up.
- The Apex radio has an integrated clock which has an alarm function. Telescopic antenna to catch the best signal in the area.
- Digital display shows radio station. Blue LED lights can be switched on to view display in the dark. Apex comes in Black. Unit can be switched ON/OFF from bottom. Easy tuning whilst item in your hands
- Size of radio - H:7.5cm, L:15cm, W:5.5cm. Radio will give upto 9 hours after fully charged and 6 hours of flashlight use after fully charged.

I took four of these radios to Zambia as gifts and they proved exceptional. Great reception, decent battery life, fairly easy to recharge with the wind-up and worked mostly just with solar charging, useful torch and unbelievable sound given its size and price. Great value for money.

This was my second purchase of this radio. I bought the first earlier this year to use while working in my greenhouse and it ran all summer on solar power without the need to wind it. This latest purchase was as an additional Christmas present for my sister and she was delighted with it. Super little radio, amazing price and on both occasions delivered very promptly by the seller - absolutely satisfied

I bought this item to send to my sister in Zimbabwe. To any who do not realise the dire circumstances in that country ; often she is without electricity along with many other things we take for granted. I chose this radio because it has the solar function so ideal for her as sunshine is one of the things she can still get in excess!! So thank you for this product which fulfills all of the features she requires.
As to the radio itself I like the shape and robust material . I did not try it out myself but when it reaches her hopefully she will give me feedback. Sadly not all goods sent to her get there .
Hope this review is of some good and who knows maybe others with rellies in a needy country will be inspired to buy one.

Only problem..is have to wind it up !
