This review is from: Duronic [ 3.5MM/1W ] - Auxilary Goldspec AUX-IN 24k Gold input lead wire cable 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack for iPod, iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4G mp3 players and car stereo (1m)
Well after reading some reviews on this page I decided to place an order for this cable as I wanted to connect my iphone to my car so that I could listen to my music. I received the cable before the expected delivery date which was nice and I was happy with the product when I received it.
I thought it was durable and quiet tough and didn't feel cheap at all. I can now safely say that I'm not impressed with the cable as after just under 6 months (ordered 29/01/11) it has broken as I can only heard sound from one side of my car and the only way you are able to heard the music correctly is by maneuvering the cable in a specific place. As you can imagine this is not in anyway ideal!... I contacted amazon who were very helpful and supplied me with an e-mail for the company so that I could contact them, which I did and I'm yet to have a reply. Very disappointed. I will update if I receive anything from the seller, e.g e-mail. UPDATE: Recieved e-mail from supplier and the cable has been replaced. Will see how this cable gets on and then I will edit my full review accordingly. UPDATE 2: Well I think its fair to say that I'm well and truly not happy with this cable as the replacement has not even lasted 48 hrs and the first use was only to see whether it would work (just after I had opened it) and to my surprise it didn't even work at all. So the replacement is worse than the original!!!. I can say that the customer service is very good and they are very helpful... it's just a shame that the cables are so bad. I would now not recommend this product.

Duronic gold input lead - AWFUL,

Bought and delivered in January, failed by February. Poor poor construction, such that the gold casing snapped/buckled and when pushing in the cable into the aux jack in the car the tension is lost and the cable cannot properly dock. Only way to get stereo sound is to hold it and wiggle around. Pointless.
Buyer beware, cheap for a reason. As it was cheap, not worth the hassle of complaining just ordered a new one elsewhere.

Brilliant product, it does exactly what it says on the tin. I have bought 4 so far for various members of the family playing mp3 through car, PC, laptop etc. The build is excellent with a protective weaved outer coat and gold jack plugs. The product looks professional and is not out of place in any environment.
Well recommended and 5 star.
