My father was in the radio/electronics/technology business for over 30 years and we had a conversation about scart leads and how easily they seemed to come loose, bend prongs and are basically not very good quality. I'd bought one of these along with a DVD player, so was trying to convince him that this one was actually far more sturdy and that I'd had no problems. He was having none of it, (stubborn to say the least), so I just ordered him one and asked him to try it. He's now been converted! Lol. He then recommended it to my Uncle, (who is also a technology-bod), I ordered him one - and he is impressed with his too. No easy accomplishment, I can assure you! SO, that's three happy customers in one family. And I'm about to buy another, as another old scart lead has just given-up-the-ghost. These are sturdy scarts and if you've a large screen or HD, then they are most definitely worth it. I don't, but my father does and he's really pleased with the transmission quality on his large flat screen TV. It does make a difference. I'm just happy to have one that doesn't come out of it's socket so easily! A great buy, as far as I'm concerned!
