Bought this to go on my motorbike. It sits behind a screen so does not get any excess spray. I read that it may not be completely watertight on another review, so thought of a little experiment. I filled the case with paper towels and attached it to my motorbike. i drove for 20-30 minutes in the rain and on my return home, I opened the case to see if any of the paper was wet.
This case is as watertight as a colander!
I never expected it to be 100% dry inside, but the whole of the inside was soaked. If you are going to put your precious sat-nav inside stick it inside a freezer bag or similar or you'll be risking it's life.
To call this waterproof is completely mis-representation as it is clearly not.
That said, it is a doddle to fit to your handlebars, comes with eay on & off clip and has padded inserts to hold whatever you put inside it.
If used in the dry, I would say this is a handy bit of kit, but avoid for wet weather use as it fails badly

Well I rode with it on my Triumph Tiger on the handlebars for two hour in the pouring rain and it worked absolutely fine with no sign of falling off or leaking. My only problem is that the hole is in the middle and most sat navs have leads that fit into one side or the other. A moveable hole, ie: a zipped system would be a good add on. Nowhere to fit it to a skooter though. Good piece of kit all round.

Bought this a few weeks ago and never had time to write review until now. It is an excellent case for the money and it comes with the foam inserts that you can trim down to suit the size and contours of your gps machine.
Down side. If my sat nav had its charge plug port in the middle it would be spot on but my tom tom has a port at the right hand side of its console, making the the hole on the case for charge connector off, so you may find you have to cut a little extra hole in the underside of the holder, not a major problem though.

Useless
The case is not a problem but the mounting system to connect it to a M'cycle is absolutely useless. My Tom Tom fell off twice within 5 minutes. Read more

Motorcycle
I fitted this product on my SV 1000 V twin and rode from Scotland to the South of France and back. (3000 miles). I encountered rain and hot sunshine, the case was absolutely fine.

Flimsy mount but Ok product
