I have used many recharging solutions and I can honestly say the best option AS FOLLOWS.
Buy this 8 hour charger (or two if you need loads of batteries for children's toys). Don't buy the fast one hour charger of £30, it wrecked my batteries shelf life. Others note this too.
This charges AA and AAA batteries. Buy Duracell ones. And buy spares too.
Don"t buy the weak ones that many here are confusing energy length over reliability.
Buy the 2450 mh (AA) and / or 1000 mh (AAA) batteries.
I have been running this little recharging system for my children's toys for over two years and never had one single issue.
You can have all this real advice for free and at my own past expense.

Excellent Charger with Batteries, & of course Excellent Amazon service.
But. As my needs were for AAA batteries i looked closely at the supplied picture which clearly states 2 AA & 2 AAA Batteries, This is not so, it comes with 4 AA, so if you require AAA buy these Separately from Amazon as i did for a very good price.
Still I am very pleased with my purchase

The 'Duracell Value AA & AAA Batery Charger' is a great little piece of kit which can be inserted in any 3 pin plug socket and with it's ability to charge either 4 AA or 4 AAA batteries at a time (or 2 AA OR 2 AAA (you can't mix the batteries) this item will meet the needs of most people. The charge time, whilst not the fastest, is pretty decent and I've found that batteries are fully charged in or under 6 hours.
An important note to consider is that this charger DOES come with 2 AA and 2 AAA batteries as stated in the item's title. Due to Duracell re-branding this item, it is no longer packaged with 4 AA batteries. Therefore the photograph(s) above and the older review(s) stating it comes with 4 AA batteries should be discounted. *

They are what they are
Super item, batteries are batteries at the end of the day but great for x-box controllers where you can just rotate them and keep them on charge.

USED ONCE

Good for the price
The charger is excellent value for money and delivery was fast. It comes supplied with 2 x AA batteries, but can charge either 4 x AA or 4 x AAA.
