In Season 2 of the hit series "Duck Dynasty" on A&E, Louisiana's bearded, camouflage-clad millionaires continue to live out the American dream while staying true to their rugged outdoorsman lifestyle and Southern roots. Ask anyone in Louisiana and they'll tell you that the bayou state's favorite first family doesn't live in the governor's mansion but in the backwoods, where the Robertsons' rags -to-riches story is still unfolding. A homegrown mom-and-pop operation, Duck Commander has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the- line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood. This newly-minted multimillionaire family is kept in line by business-savvy Willie, who runs Duck Commander with the help of his brother Jase, their respective wives Korie and Missy, patriarch and founder of the company, Phil, and uncle Si. Together they run a booming business that employs half their neighborhood, but at the end of the day you can find the whole family around matriarch Miss Kay's dinner table. Each episode brings a new set of challenges, met with a special brand of Southern know-how and a down-home sense of humor.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Faith, Family & Ducks! 22 Aug 2013
By Scottie
Format:DVD
Duck Dynasty follows the day to day lives of the Robertson family and their hunting equipment comapany Duck Commander & Buck Commander in Monroe, Louisiana. Despite becoming multi-millionaires over the past 20 years, the family has remained humble, native to the swamplands and true to their 'redneck' roots, still hunting and gathering on their land to put incredible family meals on the table at the end of each day.

This second season continues to follow the family; father Phil (founder of Duck commander), sons Willie, Jase and Jep, the hilarious Vietnam vetteran Uncle Si, cullinery queen and mother Miss Kay and all the wives and grandchildren who pretty much all play a part in running the company.

I have fallen in love with this down to earth, funny and inspirational family. It's so refreshing to see a real family with great values and an amazing outlook on life. Everyone can benefit from spending some time with them and I don't remember enjoying a tv programme this much for a very long time, I have laughed my lunch up at how funny this is. It makes great viewing for all.

It's true I am a redneck to the bone marrow, I love NASCAR, fried chicken, biscuits n' gravy, camouflage, fishing and big ol' pick up trucks but that said, I have recommended Duck Dynasty to quite a few more civilised friends and colleagues who all now love it and have become Duck-a-holics too. If you have seen season one you will know what to expect, if not, make the purchase and get you some faith, family and ducks in your life!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's not Vol.1 4 Mar 2013

The packaging has an error, and don't let it fool you. Apparently A&E was anticipating season 2 to continue after the new year. This DVD contains ALL of season 2. its he first episode up to the Christmas episode. So you are not getting ripped off. If you love this show, then get it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious! 11 Mar 2013
By Ashley - Published on Amazon.com

I have read several of the reviews on here. First the DVD is the whole collection. It has 13 episodes and some bonus features. Why don't people take the time to look at the episode lists? Second the show is not scripted. They go out there and film these guys and edit how they want to. The Duck Commander folks even said they would like more of their "realness" so to speak to come out but they have no control in how A&E edits things. Third these guys are not uneducated by any means. All the kids have degrees and so does Phil. Could any of you sitting here go out and do what Willy is doing and run that multi million dollar business? Don't think so.

This show is good, clean fun. It's one of the only shows on TV my children and I can all sit down together and watch. I am thankful for the Robertsons and all the laughs they give my family. I am addicted to the show officially.

Duck Dynasty Season 2 was great! There is some confusion whether or not this is the entire Season 2. Well, this is the entire Season 2 with all 13 episodes plus a bonus DVD, which is great too.

What not to like. Good clean fun. Kay and Phil are a love story. Willie is a genius to market this business.
