Product Description

Product Description

Duck Dynasty is a reality TV show that follows a Louisiana bayou family living the American dream as they operate a thriving duck call and decoy business while staying true to their family values.

What Patriarch Phil Robertson would tell you is that family works best when people follow God’s design for it.

That means that, at least for the Robertsons, their faith in Jesus guides them on how they should structure their home life.

Many believe the big drawing card for Duck Dynasty is its emphasis on family.

Almost every episode has a “plot” that revolves around family relationships and the natural tension they create in life.

Whether it be sibling, marital, or parental, these relationships play out before our eyes where people act surprisingly decent and respectful.

The Robertson family has shown that even though they are outrageous, unpredictable and quirky they’re also god fearing, family oriented and they believe in their guns.

5.0 out of 5 stars Duck Dynasty, Always true to life like things should be 16 Dec 2013
By Doug Olsen - Published on
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have purchased several books about the Robertsons, and like all the rest, they speak what they feel. I'am 66 yrs old and people
say that I'am old fashioned. If you don't like good values, Family, and the right thoughts about guns, this isn't for you. But if you
look at life the way you should, and your also a duck Dynasty fan. Then you will enjoy it.

The book was interesting and gave a great description of the family and how they live their lives every day. It is wonderful to see a family that loves each other and treats others with respect.

I really liked this book. The Robertson family believes strongly in God and for me, that is huge! Family is also important. Love watching the reruns of DD now. One of the best shows on TV!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring and Informative 21 Nov 2013

EXCELLENT READ: You can learn just how their family, God and guns, work together. There is nothing wrong with killing your supper out on your land. It's been done for many centuries, and Christian families had to kill animals for food, clothing and tool making from antlers and bones. It's all in God's plan, just read your Bible and you will find it. I feel like I'm getting closer to the Robertson family with each book I read.
