great story about 2 people who were married when they were very young. after 12 years they end up trying to annul their marriage but fate has other plans for them. also gina's friends are hilarious as they have all abandoned their husbands but some have decided they want things to change. hilarious read.

I agree that the characters probably don't behave exactly like what was expected in the day, but that would also make rather boring books (P&P excluded). I devour Eloisa James' books! They are all really wonderfully written and this series carries my favourite characters through the four books.
I can highly recommend any of Eloisa James' books.

I just love the books by Eloisa James. I happened to pick one up in the library and enjoyed it so much that I am now trying to find every book of hers written. The ones I cannot get from the library I have started to buy from Amazon as she has written some that are in a series and although they are lovely to read on their own I like to read them all when they belong to a series. If you like historical romances these books are certainly some that you will enjoy
