Poor design 12 Aug 2008
I bought this for blending baby food - the metal hand blender is fine but the design of the mini food processer is terrible - it has a tiny socket that you plug the motor part into this is made out of plastic which of course can't take the pressure of the blender. Mine sheared after approximately 10 uses. Hopefully I can take it back as I haven't had it long. I had a braun for 10 years that still works but is a bit battered. I decided to switch to dualit as I read that the parts on the new braun mini-processer weren't stainless steel so the life wasn't as long. If the link to the mini-chopper was better on the Dualit then it would be a great product. I don't understand why these companies don't spend a bit more to use steel instead of plastic for the high pressure parts.

Not good quality 6 Oct 2008
By Claire
The variable speed didn't seem to work as it only seemed to have one speed which was just too fast. The mixer attatchments took chunks out of my favourite mixing bowl and then after 9 months the motor burnt out. Save your money!

Disappointing product
I bought this hand blender when a much cheaper one failed after about fifteen years. I bought Dualit because, although more expensive, their reputation for quality is good. Read more

Complete rubbish
Having looked at the multitude of blenders at John Lewis we chose the Dualit, it was at the higher end of the blender market and had that expensive look. Read more

Bad design, apalling customer service
I haven't yet replied to the cavalier response from Dualit's customer service manager as I am still fuming at the attitude expressed - everyone else is happy, so you can go jump. Read more

Too mant cooks don't always spoil the broth
I love Dualit products and this is no exception. Easy to use, versatile and with plenty of gadgets. Its a head turner too if your friends come over when you are using it. Top marks

Don't bother
I bought this item thinking that, because it was Dualit and towards the top end of the price range for hand blenders, it would be good. That was a mistake. Read more

Faulty motor design
After only a handful of uses, the motor burned out following a popping noise. Given that this product is more expensive than most other blenders, it is a disgrace. Read more
