Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Rubik's 360 is the first true puzzle from Erno Rubik to challenge the classic cube for innovation and difficulty. Twist and turn the spheres to drop each coloured ball into its niche. Sounds easy, but be under no illusion, this is the hardest Rubik's puzzle yet.

Product Description

It's here. It's back. And it's just as dashed difficult as you remember. Curse of the early 1980s and most sought-after distraction at school breaktime (even moreso than the automatic drinks machine) Erno Rubik's masterful invention had the whole world scratching its collective head for years. Now you can scratch yours all over again. The cube - originally known as The Magic Cube - was nothing short of a global phenomenon. 300,000,000 have been sold worldwide, of which a staggering 100,000,000 changed hands in the period from 1980-82. And, with a impossibly large 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 (that's 43.2 quintillion) possible permutations, it's no surprise that many of those original 300 million are now to be found slowly decomposing in landfill sites all over the world. This is the greatest shame of all. And the reason that gadgetshop can now procure you a mint version of the original to discombobulate your brain for old time's sake. Now introducing Rubiks 360. It may sound easy, but be under no illusion, this is the hardest Rubik's puzzle yet! Spin, twist, lock and rotate the transparent sphere; featuring niches that correspond to coloured spheres inside. The first true puzzle from Erno Rubik to challenge the classic cube for innovation and difficulty. The puzzle is provided pristine and complete. You may wish to keep it that way. Now go. Twist.

RUBIKS QUEST 18 Aug 2010
By GINAW
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I bought the Rubik for my nephew who had already mastered the original Rubik cube, I thought this would be a challenge, it was his brother who managed to conquer it first but he didn't give up and he too finally did it. Don't think that it's now all over because he still sits and plays with it, he finds it very relaxing and although he has mastered it it is still a challenge because he can't remember (well, not yet) the order of moves. My nephew is fourteen but don't let that put you off, it isn't an age game, it suits all ages for different reasons. Give it a go, it's brilliant for the brain and you will not be disappointed.

It is a very good puzzle, I have partially solved it but it is going to take me quite a while to complete it. Puzzles that take a long time to solve can be very good and this is one of them

Like the other Rubiks products this is deliberately designed to be a real challenge. I bought it for a fun secret Santa gift at Christmas and it got passed around the assembled company for hours. There was quite a lot of swearing and cheering going on so it is obviously a good game for adults. Educational? Well only as far as it teaches you patience and maybe encourages a steady hand. If you really need to complete a puzzle this might be a frustration too far but obviously it's possible. Just that we haven't managed it.

This Rubik 360 looks like great fun to play with and always gets people to ask questions about it (especially when you put it in the stand - included). Read more

Rubik's 360
The toy is great fun, although I solved it in less than one hour. It may help to develop spatial skills and can be a great toy for children and old peaple.

Nothing like the cube, not even a puzzle. pointless
I'll admit that, at 30, I am probably the wrong age to be receiving this as a gift (- probably my sister's idea of a joke) but I don't get this puzzle. Read more

Boring 360
Looked interesting for the first few minutes. Very quickly grew tired of making no progress with no helpful instructions on how to progress. Addictaball much better value.

Rubik's 360
I bought this puzzle for my 16 year old son. It wasn't as difficult as other Rubik's puzzles. He managed to complete the puzzle, after using it for about 5 hours.
