Dont buy this if you own or are planning to buy "Railworks 2". This is just a cut down version of it. Shame on you!

If you've got Railworks, you've already got this (or most of it). It seems a bit desperate to me that they've re-packaged and re-titled a scenario from a game to try to increase sales!! How do they get away with it? Mine's going back tomorrow.
I've given this 4 stars 'cos its a good sim, but don't be fooled, Railworks owners will be shelling out twice for the same scenario....

I was extremely spectical about buying this game after owning Railworks 3.
But anyhow i got it for a reasonable price to try, quite simply it is just a ripoff off Railworks 3 where as you only get 30 miles worth of track (More track in York Sidings than that!) which is deffinatly not long enough when you are learning to "Drive a Steam Train" as they can take 10 mile to get to speed and if you start to play around with values and cock-stops then before you know it...BAM...slam the emergency on!
I am pretty disappointed with this game as I was hoping it would be a nice extra along side Railworks to try some new things.
HOWEVER! If your computer only just matches the Specifications for Railworks 3 then this is your best alternative: Microsoft Train Simulator (PC CD) it may be old, but it is blooming good fun! Lots of variety and wide range of surroundings.
For the price this game is "OK" but nothing spectacular.

A interesting train simulator
For those who like train simulations, is a good offer.
Some routes, with her activities but, the best is the graphic appearance, most better than MSTS.
