I bought this stool, because, as I get older, I have more difficulty in cleaning my lower legs and feet in the shower. This, indeed, is the answer!
Being seated in the shower brings a stability and comfort I was beginning to think was lost to me.
I have a double shower cubicle, so space is no problem, but I suspect a standard size would prove too cramped for a large frame like mine, and the stool.
Since buying this item, I have seen the same unit, but with fold away legs. This may not be as stable, I don't know, but I think I would have gone for that option, sadly not available on Amazon

This is a really stable and safe-feeling stool. I knew it was big, but we are using it in a big shower base so it's OK. I don't think it would fit in most baths as the legs splay out. The seat is grey, which matches the aluminium legs - for some reason I had expected it to be white. The legs are easily adjustable to lots of different height positions. The holes in the seat are big enough to be able to keep it clean easily, as it is bound to get mouldy in a bathroom.

Excellent bit of equipment - light to handle but sturdy, well constructed and comfortable to use and easyish to put together - don't expect an older person who's a bit unsteady to do it though.
