2 stories for the price of one in this edition,covering the Boston area detectives Gennaro and Kenzie,who have a history.These stories are exciting,with refreshing characters and interesting story lines.Get them while you can,because Dennis Lehane has stopped writing about this pair of characters and moved on to other pastures, regretfully I might add.
He has never written anything as good as these Gennaro/Kenzie stories since.So ,if you have not yet read any of them,start here.You won't be disappointed.

These first two Kenzie and Gennaro books in one volume are a great introduction to Dennis Lehane's work. I rate him up there with Michael Connelly and Robert Crais.
