AtomAge magazine was the underground bible of leather, rubber and vinyl fetish wear throughout the 1970s. Founded, designed and published by John Sutcliffe as a way of showcasing his extraordinary clothing designs, it quickly became a focal point for explorers of every kind of fledgling clothing scene. Good introduction and fascinating and nostalgic trip through the world of fetish and in particular John Sutcliffe's Atomage magazines. The printer has done well in coping with the black and white and colour of the early Atomage magazines and the author provides an excellent introduction to the subject with linking text.In looking at most of the pictures now one wonders why the police and 'the authorities' ever got so exercised about these images.

I liked this good for the great photos, but it would have been nice to have descriptions for each or at least some of the photos, also more letters from readers of the original magazine would have been nice as well. Otherwise the book should have been bigger in size and made more like a coffee table book.
