She works with a variety of art mediums, combining them with her enthusiasm for all things fabric. She strives to create items others will be inspired to re-create, hopefully adding their own personal touches. Her creative career started in retail, weaving its way through management and education positions, along the path. This experience, along with a goal to stay on top of trends in color and style, gives her current work the edge manufacturers, publishers and editors have come to expect. She shares her life with husband, Bill and daughters, Jocelyn and Kimberly in Virginia.

This is a Must-Buy!

I picked up this book at my local library. My 3 grandaughters all got American Girl dolls from Santa and I was looking for clothing ideas. It is a fabulous book, very organized and filled with easy-sew patterns. Just using fabric scraps gathering dustballs in drawers, I made a cute pair of slacks in an hour and cut out several more outfits!

The book is very well written; I've traced the pattern pieces and made several of the items. I really like the fact that the designs are made to utilize fat quarters. I do not own an 18" doll but the clothes fit my granddaughters' dolls perfectly.

This book has trendy clothes to sew for 18' dolls, perfect for a fashion conscious daughter. Basic instructions for all outfits at the beginning make it easy to reference. Clear directions for all the outfits. I give this 4 stars because I would like more patterns!
