Product Description

Dremel 930 Hobby Glue Gun: The Most Versatile Dual Temperature Hobby Glue Gun

The Dremel 930 Hobby glue gun is an entirely different system to the rotary tool that the brand is recognised for. The Dremel 930 Hobby glue gun is a dual-temperature glue gun especially suitable for detailed gluing from all hobby applications to light DIY jobs.

Dual Temperature

Using the Dremel 930 Hobby glue gun in the low temperature setting makes the tool ideal for a variety of creative hobby applications, such as scrapbooking, decorating and colour gluing on glass. Together with the included 7 mm glitter sticks, you can add a sparkle and make beautiful decorations. Flicking the temperature switch to the high setting makes the tool suitable for light DIY jobs around the house, such as gluing ceramics, wood, plastics and glass.

Ergonomic Design

With its ergonomic T-handle, the 930 Hobby glue gun is a well-balanced tool that makes operating easy and comfortable. This glue gun comes with an integrated extendable plastic stand; this allows the tool to be easily positioned in a safe and stable way.

Control and Protect Your Work

The 930 glue gun includes a drip control silicon nozzle sleeve. This prevents glue from dripping onto your work and the glue burning the nozzle. With the easy-to-push trigger handle, a constant flow of glue requires little force, meaning you will always have perfect control of the tool. The 930 has an output glue rate of 5 g/min.

The Dremel 930 hobby glue gun has a number of useful features.

Very simple to start using this hobby glue gun and easy to control the placement and quantity of glue. Worked brilliantly with cheap Silverline glue sticks (100 pack) and didn't drip at all when left balancing on the stand. The glue melts quickly and also sets quite quickly making it very practical in use. Well worth paying a little extra for this quality tool which also comes (quite generously) with 18 glue sticks including 12 glitter sticks.

Quite happy with my purchase. Does eat glue stick quicker than I thought. Also cheep glue sticks by Stick it at The Range do not melt correctly they drip so important to get Dremel glue sticks. but apart from that it does the job, sticks my craft items together well.I have used it on felt, paper, ribbon plastic, card and material. A bit light in weight so if you have the cord laying along the worktop it can topple over easily.

My wife does a lot of crafts so I was looking a for a glue gun that would work well and last. This one seems to do the trick. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. My wife has created a number of really nice looking things with it and is very please.

A few months down the line and it is still working well, I thoroughly recommend this item!

Seems faultless so far, takes about 5 minutes to warm up, doesn't drip like some do apparently, easy to use and no mess.

Dremel make a variety of mini-tools, many derived from much larger DIY tools. These include things such as drills, grinders and rotary saws and primarily intended not for DIY but for model-making and other hobbies.

Perhaps continuing that approach, they have produced this glue gun, similarly small and compatible with the thinner 7mm glue sticks (the full-sized versions tend to use 11mm). I am very familiar with the standard hot glue guns, having used them for many years, principally since they were first available in the UK. This, a smaller version, is owned by a hobbyist friend.

I have used it just once and it is not significantly different than its bigger brothers, other than in size. It does eject rather less glue than do they but that is precisely why I presume Dremel introduced it - you simply do not need as much.

Perfectly fitted for hobbyists and probably with some uses in jewellery-making too. I know that it is sometimes used by those who make the flies used in fishing. The glue is waterproof and, once set, just about permanent.

The glue is very hot when first ejected and can burn but is otherwise very safe.
