This is a reasonable "starter set" if your Dremel tool didn't come with many accessories (as they tend not to unless bought as part of a large kit). While the claim of "75 accessories" is accurate, bear in mind that this includes 20 cutting discs and 24 sanding discs - you don't get as many different tools in here as you might expect.

That said, it's a good selection of basic Dremel tools - 20 basic cutting discs and a couple of specialised cutters; 10 polishing pads with polish; a wire brush; three hard grinding tools and 8 grinding wheels; 24 sanding discs; a small drill bit and a spare wrench - all useful things to have.

However, as mentioned above, the packaging is just plain weird - you get a small plastic case with many of the tools in, but it is packaged inside a large tin, which holds a few more of the tools on display through a clear window. The tin is enormous for what is inside it, but the plastic case is too small to hold everything supplied without it being a squeeze. Dremel really don't seem to have hit on a satisfactory solution to neatly hold all the accessories they offer, and given even a casual user ends up with dozens of them, it would be nice if they did!

But that small gripe aside, a good starter kit for the new Dremel user, or a refill for those who are running short of the more "disposable" accessories like cutting and sanding discs.

As you may expect the '75 pieces' is a touch misleading, as some of the components are supplied many times (there are 20 cut off wheels for example), but so long as you accept that there's a decent selection of attachments here.

Cutting and grinding tools make up the bulk of the selection, but there are several buffing bits in there and some handing buffing compound too. Personally I'd have liked a few other buffing attachments in different sizes, as I have loads of cutting disks now, but that's just me.

The metal box (which is sort of like a biscuit tin) is handy, and it's a fair bit bigger necessary, so there is space for any spare bits you have/will accumulate. The only thing that loses it a star is the price, which I think is a little high.

Lovely tin of very useful accessories, especially handy if you did not get many when you purchased your Dremel.

They are a limited range - which is fine if you want to be doing a lot of cutting and polishing. It might seem a bit excessive that 20 of the 75 pieces are cutting discs but they do tend to wear out quickly so it seems a practical decision on Dremel's part to include this many. Same with the sanding discs, of which there are two dozen. But, again, they do tend to wear out.

It is a bit pricey for what you get - particularly the small range - but it is the usual good Dremel quality and a very useful tin full of goodies.

This is a decent bit of kit but is a bit limited as vast majority of items are for cutting/grinding, fair enough but the Dremel does many other jobs too

I really like the fact it comes in a tin box rather than the usual plastic variety, however the box seems a bit empty to be honest. All tools seem reasonable quality which we have come to expect from a reputable company like Draper, but I think it's a bit overpriced compared to other makes which come with more variation of tools for less money

Useable tool set, in a nice box but not that good for the price

The 75 pieces include an awful lot of the same items. But if you use your Dremel a lot and go through the blades then its a good way of stocking up on the most vulnerable and commonly used cutting disks etc. I just wish they'd find a way of marking clearly what each bit is/does. Its not always clear, hence only 4 stars.
