Storytelling at it's best!

Kimberley Lynne's first book is amazing! She weaves history, Eastern Shore folklore and current day reactions to her ideas together in a well written story. She vividly recounts her journey to collect the information needed that allows the reader to envision the people of Cambridge and High Street itself. Ms. Lynne should consider more books like this for other counties in Maryland!

More than your typical ghost story!

I opened this book thinking that I was going to read ghost stories. Ghost stories I got and then some! Ms. Lynn's (her)story comes alive through mythology, folklore and history all rolled up in one creepy, enlightening bucket of Eastern Shore water legend. Whether or not you've thought much about the afterlife and how your story might be told, be prepared to find yourself joining in on the conversations about physics, religion and archetype. Reading over a busy holiday weekend, whenever I closed the pages I felt a gentle, eerie pull back to the people, the town, the stories, and the stories behind the stories. A great read and a literally fantastic ending!
