A Gurney says:
And on the "Day of Action" by the sequel campaign what do Amazon do? Big surprise, they've put the price up...

I know, bit cheeky isn't it?

Still, all in a good cause! :-)

O. Coombes says:
The comic '2000AD', starring Judge Dredd, has never enjoyed anything more than a small cult following in America. (This is not a critcism of its quality, merely a long-standing sales reality.)

The 1995 Judge Dredd movie was a flop despite mega-star Sylvester Stallone.

In the 90s, DC Comics tried publishing new Judge Dredd stories, written and drawn *specifically* for America. They flopped. (I admit the Judge Dredd-meets-Batman series was more successful, but Americans bought those for Batman, not Dredd.)

The 2012 Judge Dredd movie? It -- you guessed it -- flopped.

The creators of Judge Dredd were once asked why the character wasn't more successful in America. Their answer was perceptive: Americans are *already living* in a Judge Dredd kind of world, so they don't particularly want any more!

You may want a 'Dredd' sequel. Sorry, but I say the chances are about as high as another 'Lone Ranger' or 'Green Lantern' movie anytime soon.
