Unique,

Light-years ahead of their time - everyone who knows what's good for them ought to cough up a tenner for this one... Anyone who thinks he knows anything about music remains ignorant until they experience the magic of KJD.

A perfect album,

I've been a fan of KjD for a few years now, but until recently, I hadn't purchased any of their albums. So I bought Dreams of Waking and Laurentic was kind enough to include Bring Back The Bomb. So if he reads this, thank you for that. Now for the review... It's hard to decide what makes an album great, but with Dreams Of Waking, there isn't a shortage of choices. Whether it's the irony of the sadly Shakespearean tragedy found in Anodyne and Chauvinist Waltz, or the powerful breakdowns between drums/bass and guitar in Landslide, every song sounds unique and has a story to it (through lyrics and it's recording). It's hard to categorize the band, but I could imagine fans of Bright Eyes, Radiohead or John Frusciante enjoying them, I would advise you to listen to some of Kicks Joy Darkness and Anno Birkin's songs online, I'm sure you will feel compelled to buy the album soon after.

A must have to any music collection,

An incredible work from a very talented group of people. The album is very dynamic and moves from the devestatingly agsressive to the peacefully melancholic. It is sincere and original. It has changed the way I listen to music and has left me dumbstruck. There is a tragic story behind this album that makes it even more compelling.
