A Different Kind of Hero... 26 Sept. 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com

This book was amazing! The murals in skys showed emotions and feeling. The story tells kids that there can be a hero in the smallest of things...even a mouse!

Wonderful 8 Feb. 2010
By bigdawggi - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
We love Ezra Jack Keats in our house. We feel that he writes in a way that children think and love and understand. This book is no disappointment! The pictures are incredible...our kids love the way that each window shows what the different children are dreaming. They were mesmerized by it, and after reading it, created their own little house with windows they each drew in. Once again, Keats inspires and touches the little minds of children. Highly recommended!

A classic! 5 April 2011
By Justin Hyde - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
My kids and I love this book! I have a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old daughter. They both love it.

The story is subtle and creative. The art is rich and original (really some of the best art I've seen!). And the concept is wonderfully engaging. As the back cover notes, "Sometimes real life is even more surprising than dreams."

I highly recommend this book for you and your young children.
This is a very simple story about a little boy ... 18 Sept. 2014
By Rosa Cline - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is a very simple story about a little boy and his neighbor friends. They all go to bed but he can't go to sleep. Then he looks out the window at night and find something that no one else has seen. And his paper mouse he made became special after all... The illustrations were just as special as the story itself.
