We bought our son this throw as he lives in an old cottage which takes some heating and at times last winter he suffered from the cold, especially last thing at night on getting into an ice cold bed (he lives alone). On the first night of use he switched the throw on about 30 minutes before getting into bed and described the experience as "wonderful". Since then he has consistently raved about it, so comfortable and cosy. The downside is (if it is one) he finds it difficult to part company with his bed in the morning! He has told us that if it came to a straight choice between his TV or throw, the latter would win every time!!

A brilliant heated electric throw! Warm and soft; you can barely feel the wires through it. The heat setting 9 (Fast pre-heat) does exactly what it says, it heats it up fast! You feel the heat within a minute, and it reaches optimum temperature within 10 minutes. Good way of keeping warm without turning the heating on.
A great way to keep warm in winter; whether to keep warm working late nights, snuggling up on the sofa with a film or to make the bed nice and toasty before you go to sleep. Not advisable to sleep upon; product is marketed as a throw rather than underblanket. There is an edge all around the blanket of roughly 10cm that doesn't heat up though - probably to make the throw more comfortable. Has an automatic 3 hour shutoff timer to prevent over-heating. Cable length is good.

I bought this for my father who is not well, and has lost a lot of weight recently due to illness, he is permanently cold and with this heated throw he can regulate his temperature without the rest of us boiling, I would definatley recommend this throw to anyone who suffers from being cold,
