Format:Audio CD
Having never heard of this duo before, I bought Dreamcatcher on the strength of hearing the title track once on the Classic FM chart. And I am so glad I did. The haunting melodies of some of the tracks (Sigma, Nocturne, Prayer) are so moving and full of depth, really relaxing. And then come along the almost Celtic sounds of Celebration, Lore of the Loom and The Rap, stirring, strong melodies, really up-beat and cheering.
This is such a great album; great to listen to when relaxing with a glass of wine after the stresses of the day! If you've ever listened to Clannad or Karl Jenkins' Adiemus recordings, you'll love this. Highly recommended.

On learning of this CD's release, I went straight out to buy it. The haunting beauty of the music was definitely there as it was on the previous "Songs from a Secret Garden." A major disappointment on "Dreamcatcher" however was the re-working of a number of the tracks from the previous CD. I was not aware that this was a "greatest hits" type CD and was surprised to hear the repeats.
Never the less, a collection of beautiful sounds, well recommended, particularly if you don't have the originals.

I got familiar with this CD after getting a recommendation from Enya's fan.
The only similar thing I found between Secret Garden and Enya is the Celtic roots.

Secret Garden music is more an instrumental pieces than songs. In their web site, they describes their creation as "music to a film not yet seen". I think it a perfect definition to the experience you have when you listen to this CD.
This album is a special compilation album that was released in the US. The album is a selection of tracks from Secret Garden's former three CDs, including one new bonus track called "The Present" from the Korean film with the same name.
I found it very emotional, enchanting and relaxing. Gentle, moody rhythms and colorful sound that combined together into a musical kaleidoscope. Beautiful spiritual journey.

easy lsitening
Bought this for my mum who loves it. She usually listens to clannad on repeat and this has defintely proven to be a good alternative. It's relaxing and very easy to listen to

Secret garden - Dreamcatcher
Plays well from CD. I have tried twice to put this on my ipod, for some reason it will not load the track names and Apple dont have the artwork for it which is a real pain.
