What a talented young girl!
I've never really been a big fan of this type of music, but after watching Jackie sing on Britains Got Talent i was completely blown away! She sings with such emotion and grace, it's hard to believe that such a mature and beautiful voice can come from someone so young.
I now find opera/classical music much more enjoyable than i thought i ever would :)
I love every song on this album and look forward to her next one :D :D

Format:Audio CD
There is 1 word that could sum up this album (albeit a simple 1) WOW!!! And that was after a period of being speachless. I've loved Jackie ever since i saw her performance on America's Got Talent last year, her rendition of O Mio Babbino Caro just blew me away. This girl truely does have the voice of an angel. I was lucky enough to have heard her very first cd Prelude To A Dream and was dissapointed when her father decided to withdraw it stating:
"Because the cd was released about a year and a half ago, her current voice no longer sounds like it did then (due to vocal maturity), we decided to withdraw Prelude To A Dream and will be concentrating on new material as part of her progress".
And to some extent i can see why, her voice has matured so much on this album compared to Prelude To A Dream (maybe even O Holy Night), but i think it's a shame that so many people have missed out on owning that beautiful cd. You maybe lucky to find a rare copy being sold on ebay, but bare in mind it's become such a colectors item that it has recieved final winning bids of over $1,500.
Anyway, unlike many classical crossover singers i've listened to in the past, this cd has been produced and arranged beautifuly, owing to having the wonderful David Foster at the helm.
I encourage everyone to listen to this album, it is so beautiful and such a pleasure to listen to, you will not be dissapointed. And yes, you really are listening to the voice of an 11 year old girl, the voice of an angel.
And if her next album is even half what this album is, then i know it will still be spectacular :-D

Do you have your favourite CDs? And one or two favourite tunes there? I do. So, I found this CD a rare luxury as it is difficult to me to pick just one or two tunes.
Not only Jackie's voice is amazing but also her being 'glued' to music or as she says - being 'possessed by music'. I can hear it listening to this CD over and over again.
This CD produced by David Foster who in my opinion is also 'possessed by music' :) proves to me one more time that music can be a common space where we all can meet each other. And age, sex, nationality, styles of music and time it has been created don't matter any more.
I recommend "Dream with me" by Jackie Evancho not only to classical music fans or crossover ones. I dare recommend it to everyone who dream of common space where we can all meet for few minutes.

I just love this youngsters singing, both her voice and her delivery. She has captured the poet in me and, lets face it, 300 million UTube hits can't be wrong.

The little girl with the big voice
I found these recordings very moving. While Jackie has a way to go in depth of expression her voice more than makes up for that. Some of these songs gave me goose bumps.
