Good Tune. Lets face it, when you've got rubbish like Black Eyed Peas and Lady GaGa and all the rest of the robot voice trash, anything before the 90's is brilliant!

Yep, this is another song that takes me back to my trip to Florida. Being a bit of a space fan I spent allot of time at Kennedy Space Centre. I watched NASA tv and listened to the wake up music chosen by some of the Astronauts. So what's that got to do with this.
I heard this on one of the radio stations whilst driving round Florida. I listened to the lyrics,'Fly Me High Through The Stary Skies.' The music sounds astral and dreamy. I could listen to this and imagine being on board the shuttle flying orbits around the earth watching the sunrises and sets. Watch the stars and let your troubles melt away.
I don't think this recording is particularly brilliant. It's not a polished vocal and it's a very 70's sort of feeling to the track. But if you want a piece of music that can make you feel your out there in space then this does it. I don't know if it was ever a wake up tune for the Astronauts but I sure it could have been.
