What I think of 'Dream On' is this book is not for me. The only thing I like about the book is the characters, like Baljit's Dad who wants him to be a man with his own good life that includes no football. I don't like this because it is set in the same background. I do not think this book is for all ages, I think it is for 13+. This book is not for most girls, more for girls that like football. The story is weak and how it has been set will not grab most readers.

I think 'Dream On' is a bo-ring book because it gets dull about football and it goes on and on and on about his dad telling him that he isn't going to let Baljit do football. If Baljit's dad let him play football earlier, it would have been a shorter book. I think the book needs action about the bullies and to make Baljit fight the bullies. NO ACTION!! The only funny bit is when Baljit's dad throws oily chips.
My opinion on the book is that it's dull! DULL! Capital DULL! I would give the book a star rating of one and a half stars or just one star.

This book goes on and on about football and chips. Complete waste of time. Not enough sense of humour. Not a type for girls. The Dad should have agreed in the first place. There should have been more settings. It does not grab readers' attention. No cliffhangers.

This book is more for boys than for girls. In the book there are some things that made me think. The characters like the Dad, the way he acts when Baljit wants to become a football player...
This book is mostly about football which is Baljit's dream. It was too much about the same background. When he got bullied it was quite interesting. This book is for all age groups. The front cover should draw you in more because there are just football boots on there.
The bit I most enjoyed was then Baljit fell in love. That was the only bit that I would recommend for girls.
The thing that made me laugh was when his dad threw greasy chips on Baljit. Will Baljit get his dream?

Boring- because the cover was bland and the story kept going on and on and on.
I think the book is for all ages but it has to be a boy because I don't know any girls who would like the book because it goes on and on about football and his family problems. Well, I might not enjoy the book but other people out there might do so don't be put down. Are you into football? If you are I recommend this book for you.
Will Baljit follow his dream?

What I like about this book is Baljit and his Dad's relationship. What I don't like about this book is they talk on and on about the same thing, football. I rate this book for people 10 and over. The theme of this book is making more Asian people play football. One of the most boring things about this book is the cover of the book, a pair of football boots. This book is about a boy named Baljit. He wants to play football but his family doesn't want him to. What will he do?

This book is really boring until it comes to the part where Baljit falls in love with a girl named Hannah. This brought a sort of twist to the story because Baljit's Dad doesn't want him to play football but is allowing him to go out with a girl of his choice. But this is still not a book I think that girls shouldn't read.
