Book Description

Everyone has a story to tell and this is the story of Matrix, the Dream Catcher.

In 2012 in a small cottage hospital in the Scottish Highlands a boy with yellow eyes is born, destined to be an outcast, a god, a devil. Destined to be Matrix. A man who will suffer more than any man and who will lead a revolution to free people like him from institutional abuse and murder.

Matrix can read our hearts, steal our dreams and make them into our darkest nightmares. This is his promise: no more secrets; no more lies; we share each other's reality; your reality is now mine - and mine is yours.

In 2040, he publishes his story, The Matrix Solution. We believed he had given us the truth, except it was not the complete story. It was only ever part of the truth.

Now at last, as we approach the end of the century, he speaks out and we finally understand the full story behind The Matrix Solution and what happened in a Bristol warehouse in June 2047.

The Dream Catcher Diaries takes us into his reality and to the centre of his terrifying world. Take courage and read his story and then at last you may understand something of the darkness that lurks within us all.

These are the Dream Catcher Diaries, available at last in two volumes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Thought provoking prophetic novel. 25 Jan. 2014

This is an unusual book in that it's written in the first person, auto-biography style. And yet it's set in the future.
It depicts a Britain where ... well, you'll have to read the book to find out. Needless to say, what seemed to be a good idea at the time, proved to be less than perfect, and things are going on in the background of which normal people are unaware.
Most of the action takes place in flash-back, which sounds confusing, and yet, somehow, it isn't confusing at all.
Characters appear, and then a flashback explains how they first met and how they fit into the current picture.
Be aware, though, if you are at all squeamish or weak of stomach, that some of the descriptions are, well, graphic to say the least.
As I read this book, it became more and more 'unputdownable' if that's a word. The story picked me up and carried me along in the action.
I think this book should be a warning to politicians and the public, present and future, that if a win-win policy seems too good to be true, it probably is!
