I credit Richard Taylor for all the growth I have experienced as a watercolor painter. I have been working with his books for years now, and I own most of them. I keep returning to them for many reasons: information on architectural styles and building histories, as well as his encouraging teaching style, which translates very nicely onto the printed page. Taylor makes you want to "have a go" and try it. Last but not least is his painting technique, which can take a simple brick building and turn it into art you never get tired of viewing. He has been a real influence. I highly recommend all his books and teaching materials.
