The book covers polygons up to thirteen sides, dividing a line and creating a Golden Section but little else. Since it is advertised as being for architects I was expecting to find the methods of creating ogee, lancet and inflexed arches, trefoils, the oval and other commonly used shapes in art, architecture and gardening.
The section on dividing a line could have gone another step on how to use the technique to divide an area into any number of strips or rectangles.
An appendix with simple drawing tips like using the 3:4:5 triangle to create a right angle, finding the centre of an existing circle etc. would also have been nice. One has to assume that the purchaser may know very little about basic geometry.
