I often wondered how on earth caricaturists do what they do and believed it to be just a natural talent. After reading this book I wouldn't say I can now draw wonderful caricatures but thanks to Martin Popes fascinating insight to drawing celebrity caricatures I certainly understand the thought process needed to produce such fantastic works of art. This book is easy to read, incredibly well structured, very topical and displays some of the best celebrity caricatures I've seen. The artwork alone is worth the price of the book.

This is the second book that I have bought by this author and in my opinion one of the best books about drawing celebrity caricatures available.
The author starts off with a very interesting piece on recognizing face patterns and layout. Then guides you through the use and application of a variety of mediums and styles finishing off with a useful section on enhancing your artwork using computer software.
Whether you're a novice or a mature art student I think this is a really useful and practical book to own. There's also a great selection of the authors superb caricatures displayed throughout, I'd say it was money well spent.
