3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty but disappointing 26 Feb 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
It's a beautiful book with elegant illustrations of what the author has done but it doesn't take you through any steps of how to make the shapes of the bird which, oddly enough is what is required. The book is also impractically large - I have no where to store it and it's going to get bent very easily. Also most of the instruction is just, "here I added detail". Not as informative as I needed it to be unfortunately.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a book, more like a brochure 15 Jan 2014
By LD
Format:Paperback
I was very disappointed when I received this "book". It was ment to be a christmas present to a person who really wanted to learn how to draw birds. I read some reviews, found the price appelative, and went for it. When it arrived I though it was a mistake and someone had sent me a brochure instead of the real thing! And when I openned it... well, one can't really learn how to draw birds from scratch from this "brochure"...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the 2.52 i paid for it 18 Dec 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
If Danny Dyre was a book, this would probably be it!, as its just as bad as his acting! also its pointless, boring and outdated!
Probably the worst 'how to draw' book ive ever brought! only shows about 5 different birds to draw. there is no base instruction on drawing the shape of the bird. within step 1 you are meant to have an outline of a bird from thin air! what a dick!
PS... Danny Dyre is also a dick
