It is a very practical book for specific needs, such as art therapy, business creativity, life balance, self confidence and oh yes, drawing too. I suppose that like many mobile phones, this book has so many reasons to purchase it, that almost the drawing is a added bonus. Remarkable book and wonderfully written, not by an over confident person with too much time on their hands, but by someone who truely cares about helping people be the best they can. Remarkable piece of work.

Are you an artist? Read this book, do the exercises and you will soon realise you too can be creative. Betty Edwards has a knack for bringing out the artistic potential in all... Be encouraged to buy one of Betty Edwards books - that is all you need and I thoroughly recommend Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

Creating new connections in the brain is a great way to remain alert throughout life. As I could only draw stickmen, I thought I'd give this try. Betty Edwards has the reader copying a drawing by Picasso upside down. The idea is to trick the right brain into giving up and to let the left brain "just draw". You only see your masterpiece once you turn it the right way up. Astonishing.
