I love the variations in this book. It doesn't just teach me one way to draw animals, but gives loads of creative ideas that can be as simple or complex as I want them to be. I particularly like the idea for painting a cat - a spot of watercolour, then some easy ink lines, with a great curly tail!

I personally found this book too difficult to follow, but it was nicely produced and I hope to feel able to have another go at usuing it one day.

My five year old daughter loves the step by step instructions and takes great pride in being able to draw the different animals in the book. I appreciate that it shows how to draw with various media. We have alot of fun doing art time with this book!

I bought this for my grand-daughter. She loves to draw and this shows shapes of things. I even has a section that shows how to use the computer to draw.
