this book is just mind blowing with tones of info on drawing very realist horses. the steps are very clear and dont give all the steps in one go. the pictures give you good guidence and this book is very good for begginers but experianced people can also use it

This book is fantastic! Iam an amateur artist and not really very good at mixing colours I was asked by my daughter to paint her horse portrait daunting!Jeans book talked me through each step and advised on colours for different horses and how to mix in both acrylics and oils,and gave me confidence to proceed.

A beautiful book for artists and non-artists alike

I just received this book and it is fantastic. Even if you cannot draw more than stick figures, the artist makes you feel that you can create masterpieces. If you are not into creating your own art, this book stands alone as a wonderful art book with beautiful drawings and paintings by the artist. Highly recommended!

This is the most informative,well thought out book,very easy to use & understand,it is self explanatory,and it cover's 3 different medium's,how much better can you get than that? I really hope to find more that are as well thought out. As a horse lover & owner my self i find this book to be a very good addition to all my other art books & supply's as an artist very helpful, Thank You Amazon,and the cost was what made it even better. I really like this book. The advice on mixing realistic colors and the order in which to apply different tones is great. Painting is a new medium for me. The projects offered are quality and the artist is talented.
However, for the cost of the book I would like to have had more painting projects. The drawing section was not of interest to me. I would still buy again. The horses are much more realistic than any other painting book I have come across.
