5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction, 21 Jan 2009

(REAL NAME)
As a complete non-artist this book is a very helpful introduction to drawing this kind of illustrations. It has all the information I needed: what equipment to use, basic character anatomy, how to create action and expressions, clothing, scenery, perspective, colour/shading, etc... It is absolutely packed with illustrated examples of everything mentioned; including many preparitary sketches.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy-to-follow introduction to this kind of drawing.
